Moving forward into the future. Trying new technology, apps. programs and stay up to date with current trends will and will continue to be a big part of my job. I have to do my best to stay ahead of the game. When you catch an app before it gets popular and you can develop a presence, you can ride that wave when everyone else arrives! To do that, you have to test a lot of different programs outs. Some have been horrible, (Most CRM’s for Realtors) but technology is playing more and more of a role in Real Estate and how transactions are handled. I’ve seen an opening to fill a void.
The new school Realtors will have to be highly versatile, good communication skills, know how to market online, and not be scared to market themselves. Social Media is the best resource we have to build our brand and reach a large number of people and I try my best to take advantage. I’ve taken the time to learn, read, and educate myself on how to be effective. I’ve watched COUNTLESS hours on Youtube looking for advice. It baffles me to see a lot of agents not even care about anything online other than email. You have to create content that when it’s shared it receives a lot of engagement.
From what I read “online presence” is a big deal for small businesses, and it is. When I say online presence, I’m talking about your websites and social media platforms you’re a part of and how much of a figure you are.
